A native of Louisiana, Brad Mittendorf is also a founding member of Southern Strategy Group (Louisiana). Leveraging expertise in energy and telecommunications policy, Brad represents clients before the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC). In addition, he coordinates issues management and media relations services for SSG clients.

The former campaign manager of Republican Jimmy Field's successful bid for public service commissioner, Brad also served as Commissioner Field's executive assistant. During his 7-year tenure with the LPSC, Brad advised on energy, telecommunications and transportation policies. She primarily represents clients before the legislative and executive branches of state government, focusing on issues related to commerce and industry, civil law, criminal justice, education, health care and transportation.

With keen political skills acquired from managing numerous elections, Liz applies winning campaign strategies to complex lobbying battles. She combines essential grassroots and coalition- based support with the media to deliver comprehensive, effective strategies.

A graduate of Brenau Women's College, Liz has been recognized as one of the top 100 "Louisiana Influencers" and a "National Rising Star" by Campaigns & Elections' Politics magazine and an "Up and Comer in Louisiana Politics" by the Times of Acadiana. Her consulting work has earned award-winning recognition for various political and public policy firms.

Troy Nichols, owner of The Nichols Group Government Relations, brings nearly thirty years of policy and political experience in the Pacific Northwest. He first moved to Washington State from Oregon to become the state director of the National Federation of Independent Business in 2007. Two years later he became the Director of Policy Development for the Washington State House Republican Caucus. Before joining PBGR in 2017, Troy served as Executive Officer of the Olympia Master Builders for three years.

  • As caucus staff liaison for the Washington House Capital Budget Committee, Troy helped to negotiate and pass several multi-billion dollar capital budgets during his tenure

  • As executive officer for a five-county trade association, Troy helped stop the association's decade-long decline in membership, balanced its annual budget for two years in a row, revamped several programs and racked up an impressive string of local policy and electoral victories; and

  • As Chief of Staff to the Oregon House Majority Leader and the Speaker of the Oregon House, Troy served as strategic counsel to state leaders on the most important and sensitive issues facing the state.

PJ Lavelle is a partner in the firm and has been with Malady & Wooten for over a decade. PJ prides himself on helping clients navigate the vast and complex world of government by developing and executing strategies which are tailored for each individual client. Mr. Lavelle has a strong record of experience representing a wide range of clients before both state and local government with a focus on economic development, energy, transportation, and utility related issues.

Prior to joining the firm, PJ served as a senior policy advisor to House Democratic Leadership in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. As a key negotiator for House Democrats, he played a lead role in the passage of laws that have changed the face of Pennsylvania, such as Governor Rendell's Energy Independence Strategy and the Rebuilding PA infrastructure investment package. Preceding his years of service to the House, Mr. Lavelle served on the staff of Pittsburgh City Council.

PJ Lavelle is a native Pennsylvanian, born and raised in Lackawanna County. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and resides in the Harrisburg area with his family.

Hope, originally from southwest Oklahoma, joined Edwards Capitol Partners at the start of 2021. With a strong background in business and campaign management, she brings extensive knowledge and organization to the team. Hope served as the campaign finance director for U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe, successfully led the campaign for Oklahoma County Sheriff Tommie Johnson III, and worked as a campaign fundraiser for Representative Trey Caldwell, among others. Prior to her campaign work, she spent a decade in the technology sector, where she ultimately managed customer support and sales for a small software company. Hope brings together both the business and political world to best serve her clients.

Sundial Advocacy is a government relations and public affairs firm that specializes in healthcare, energy, housing, and technology issues. It is led by Nick Streuli, the Managing Partner, who has over 15 years of experience working in policy and politics in Washington State. Nick served in senior executive positions of state government concluding his tour of public service as the Governor's Policy Director. He helping manage state legislative relations, congressional affairs, tribal relationships, and statewide policy development and execution on behalf of the Governor and Executive Cabinet Agencies.

Nick Streuli is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sundial Advocacy. Prior to becoming a consultant in the private sector, Nick worked in senior executive positions in state government for nearly 15 years helping state agencies and the Governor navigate policy and regulatory challenges. Known for his collaborative problem solving and partnership building savvy, Nick has been at the center of many of the largest legislative and regulatory battles of the last decade.

Previously, Nick served as Governor Jay Inslee's executive director of policy and outreach, where he managed teams in both Washington State and Washington D.C in charge of statewide policy, congressional affairs, international relations, and local government outreach.

Prior to his service with Governor Inslee, Nick worked as the legislative director for the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD). He also worked as the ESD federal government and tribal affairs liaison prior to serving as the legislative director.

He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Washington State Institute for Public Policy (WSIPP), a nonpartisan public research group whose mission is to carry out practical, non-partisan research at the legislature's direction. Nick currently serves on the Advisory Board of the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, a joint effort of Washington State University and the University of Washington to foster collaborative public policy in Washington State and the Pacific Northwest.

Nick lives in Olympia with his partner Christina and their teenage son. He holds a master's degree in business administration and a B.A. in political science and economics, both from Washington State University.
