PJ Lavelle is a partner in the firm and has been with Malady & Wooten for over a decade. PJ prides himself on helping clients navigate the vast and complex world of government by developing and executing strategies which are tailored for each individual client. Mr. Lavelle has a strong record of experience representing a wide range of clients before both state and local government with a focus on economic development, energy, transportation, and utility related issues.

Prior to joining the firm, PJ served as a senior policy advisor to House Democratic Leadership in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. As a key negotiator for House Democrats, he played a lead role in the passage of laws that have changed the face of Pennsylvania, such as Governor Rendell's Energy Independence Strategy and the Rebuilding PA infrastructure investment package. Preceding his years of service to the House, Mr. Lavelle served on the staff of Pittsburgh City Council.

PJ Lavelle is a native Pennsylvanian, born and raised in Lackawanna County. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and resides in the Harrisburg area with his family.

He served as Finance Director for all three of former Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr.'s gubernatorial campaigns and was co-chairman of his campaign committees. Mr. Reith served on the Inaugural Committee for Governor Larry Hogan, and has been active in the National Republican Party since 1996. In 2016, Mr. Reith served as the co-chairman for the Inaugural Committee for Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh. He currently sits on the board of directors for The Canton Group, ThinkBig Networks, and on the alumni board for the Boys' Latin School of Maryland. Previously, Mr. Reith served as an advisor for Compass Marketing, Inc. and as an advisor for Brown Advisory in Baltimore. He is also a former board member of the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House and the GBMC Philanthropy Committee board of directors.

Meagan and her family have called rural middle Tennessee home for eight generations. As an experienced lobbyist she puts that pride in the state to work in achieving great things for her clients. She is widely recognized for her knowledge of the Tennessee General Assembly's rules and procedures as well as her long-held relationships within all three branches of state government. She has successfully guided clients through complex issues such as prescription safety regulations, state funding needs and professional licensing requirements.

Lawmakers and their staff turn to Meagan as a trusted resource of information during the legislative process and recognized for her successful work in agriculture and transportation policy as well as child welfare. Her success and well-founded reputation as an honest broker have proven to be invaluable to her clients and protecting their interests.

Meagan joined the state's oldest lobbying firm, Harris Frazier Government Relations, in 2003 and became a partner in 2008. She most recently helped lead its consolidation into HBS in 2025 as HBS Tennessee. Earlier in her career she held staff positions in the Tennessee House of Representatives and the state Treasury Department.

Meagan is the former President of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Lobbyist Association and today serves in leadership positions on numerous non-profit boards and co-founded CASA of Dickson County to advocate for abused and neglected children in her community.

Meagan is a licensed attorney in Tennessee and earned a JD from Nashville School of Law and a bachelor's in public relations from Middle Tennessee State University.
