John Kay is a proud native of Shreveport, Louisiana; earning an undergraduate degree from LSU Shreveport.

John's political career began locally, where he contributed to several high-profile campaigns, including the Senatorial campaign of John Kennedy and John Fleming's congressional campaign.

He spent over ten years managing seven-figure issue advocacy campaigns and achieving policy results at the state capitol.

In 2023, John joined Attorney General Jeff Landry's campaign for governor as Deputy Campaign Manager. He became policy director for Governor Landry's office, working on successful high-profile policy changes.

With over seventeen years of experience building relationships across the state and navigating difficult policy change, John is prepared to represent you in Baton Rouge.
