As the Founder of PSG, John draws on more than 25 years experience in the Greater Philadelphia public policy arena to get great results for his clients. Prior to launching PSG in January 2019, he was Vice President for City Relations at Wojdak Government Relations, one of Pennsylvania's premier lobbying firms. John oversaw all issues in Philadelphia's City Hall and successfully represented large corporations, developers, regional associations, universities, and non-profits for fourteen years.

Before Wojdak, John served as a legislative assistant and drafted and analyzed municipal and state legislation over six years for then-Councilman Jim Kenney and the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Appropriations Committee. In the 1990s, John worked on various city and state political campaigns, and spent three years as the Research Director for the Committee of Seventy, Philadelphia's "government watchdog" organization.

John holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, where for thirteen years he was an instructor on urban politics and municipal government at Penn's Fels Institute of Government. He lives in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, where he serves on the executive board of the East Falls Development Corporation. He swears he is much better at lobbying than he is at dyeing his youngest daughter's hair (although he is getting pretty good at that too).

As the founder of Statehouse Solutions, LLC, Matt Glavin helps clients navigate the complex legislative and regulatory landscape in Illinois. His background in politics, law, government, and managing in-house government affairs operations for large corporations, allows him to bring unique value to his clients.

Before founding Statehouse Solutions, Matt served as managing director and shareholder at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies, where he focused his client work in Springfield. Previously, he was the national director of Government Affairs for American Water, overseeing legislative and regulatory policy in 47 states for the largest privately owned water utility in the country. He also has extensive experience handling policy and regulatory matters before the Illinois Commerce Commission, the state's primary utility regulator.

Earlier in this career, Matt worked in several high-level positions for former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, including director of the Office of Business Development and chief of staff for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Additionally, he previously served as deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Richard Durbin. He has worked on several political campaigns in Illinois and worked at a large law firm in Chicago handling consumer and class action defense cases.

Matt serves on the Board of Governors for Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he graduated law school cum laude. Matt also previously served on the board of directors of Equality Illinois, the state's largest LGBTQ organization, and obtained his bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University.

In 2023, Matt was awarded the St. Robert Bellarmine Award from Loyola, which honors alumni who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to the profession and to the School of Law.
