Sherry D. Nickerson is a seasoned government affairs professional with more than 20 years of experience advancing client interests before state and local legislative and executive bodies. Her career spans lobbying, strategic advocacy, coalition building, and grassroots campaign management, with a consistent record of delivering meaningful policy outcomes in Annapolis and beyond.

Before founding her own firm, Sherry served as Director of Government Affairs at two Maryland based lobbying firms where she represented clients before both the Maryland General Assembly and executive agencies. She developed targeted advocacy strategies, built relationships with elected officials and regulators, and navigated complex, politically sensitive issues with discretion and skill.

Her earlier career includes service as a Legislative Aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, a decade of lobbying at Poole, McKinley & Blosser in Tallahassee, and independent consulting representing clients before federal and state legislative and regulatory bodies. She holds a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.

Sherry is the founder of the National League of Women Lobbyists, a national membership organization of professional lobbyists active across multiple state legislatures, and serves on the boards of Ortus Academy and the Starboard Society.
