Andrew Griffin is a Partner at Providence Strategies and a lifelong Marylander. He began his career on political campaigns at the federal, state and local levels. Andrew has a diverse professional background, including the highest levels of government, most notably in the Governor's Office and at the state's flagship public university. Most recently, Andrew was Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, the largest business advocacy organization in the state. His advocacy experience encompasses a wide range of issues before the Maryland General Assembly and the U.S. Congress, which has cultivated a strong belief in the importance of personal relationships and grassroots advocacy. Andrew resides in Annapolis with his wife, their two young children and Boykin Spaniel, Huck.

Michael Mason is the Founding Principal of Providence Strategies. A lifelong Maryland resident, he brings over a decade of experience in the public & private sectors. Before establishing Providence Strategies, Michael served as a senior advisor and head of government relations for Maryland's 7th largest jurisdiction. In this capacity, he advocated on behalf of the Harford County Government and lobbied before the Maryland General Assembly, Maryland Executive Branch, and local governments. He is widely recognized as an expert in local government affairs and procurement. In 2023, Michael was honored as Partner of the Year by the Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations. A proud graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, and resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with his wife Ashley, their son Walton, and their German shorthaired pointers Gunner and Ranger.
