Biography

Neal Lancaster serves as a Senior Associate in Cornerstone's Jackson office, assisting the firm's government relations team with client service activities including conducting research and providing updates on state legislative matters and diverse regulatory issues.

Neal previously served as an Intern at the firm during the Mississippi 2023 and 2022 Legislative Session. He assisted the Jackson team by attending committee meetings and tracking legislative status of bills while also drafting legislative summaries for the weekly newsletter.

Prior to his time at Cornerstone, Neal interned for the Mississippi House of Representatives as the head page during the spring 2019 and 2020 sessions. As a law student, he was able to gain legal experience by serving as a law clerk for Wilkins Patterson Smith Pumphrey & Stephenson, P.A. In this role, he conducted legal research of statutes and case law, as well as attended depositions, motion hearings and trials.

Neal earned his Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Mississippi and received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.
