Biography

An experienced lobbyist, Katie joined Pugliese Associates in February of 2016 after previously working as Manager of Government Relations for a statewide professional association where she focused on tax policy, legislation, and licensure. She has worked with the Legislature, the executive branch, and state regulators and has experience with legal reform and tax credits programs. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Since joining Pugliese, Katie has been focused on the burgeoning medical marijuana industry, tax policy, education and agricultural issues, as well as issues pertaining to opioid prescription and abuse.

A 2009 graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg (formerly Widener University School of Law), Katie received a certificate in Law & Government following the completion of her externship with the Pennsylvania Legislative Reference Bureau. While there, she authored a legal note regarding proposed legislation that would extensively revise the Uniform Arbitration Act.

In 2014, the Widener University Commonwealth Law School Alumni Association recognized Katie as the Outstanding Recent Alumna. Katie sits on the Board of The Widener University Commonwealth Law School Alumni Board and the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Government Relations (PAGR).
