Lena is a native Oregonian with a background that spans the urban perspective of Portland and the rural aspects of the Willamette Valley. She served as a legislative staffer for former state Rep. Raquel Moore-Green (R-Salem) during some particularly unique years. Most recently, Lena worked as the director of business advocacy for the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce representing a business community dedicated to creating a thriving region.
