I am a former member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's New England Public Policy Center Advisory Board, and the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy. I have also served on a number of legislatively-established study commissions, including electric utility property taxes and education funding.
I have a PhD in Economics and have been an economist at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, in Concord, New Hampshire for more than 25 years.
I regularly testify before the New Hampshire Legislature on behalf of a range of business and non-profit clients. I work on matters before regulatory agencies and have appeared as an expert witness regarding fiscal and economic impacts of energy infrastructure projects. I have also authored studies and provided strategic advice on the effects of a statewide property tax, various business tax proposals, and public investments and infrastructure.

I am the 24th recipient of the award, and the first person from the firm to receive it.
I am serving my second, three-year term on the New Hampshire Professional Conduct Committee, to which I was appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court. I am presently the Vice Chair.
I have also served on multiple nonprofit boards. I am the Immediate Past President of the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association, where I have served on the Board for the past eight years. I served for four years as Community Outreach Chair of the Webster-Batchelder American Inn of Court, three years as Trustee of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society, and three years as Director of Red River Theatres. I am an alumna of the Junior Service League of Concord and served six years on the Northern New England (ME, NH, and VT) regional board of the American Red Cross.
