I served as a policy/budget advisor to the House of Delegates Minority Office. I provided advice, account management analysis and development of public policy relating to the state budget, public education, education and the arts, health, human services, energy, commerce, tourism, and other policy issues. I gave guidance and oversight on legislative rules, and proposed legislation for consistency with the legislative budget and proposed policies. I served on the House of Delegates Redistricting Committee, House of Delegates/Senate Budget Conference Committee. In addition, I served as director of legislative services for the Department of Health and Human Resources and as senior policy analyst in the Office of the Governor.
