Mathew Munoz brings more than a fifteen of experience in New Mexico government relations, legislative advocacy, and public policy. Before founding Munoz Consulting, he spent ten years representing the University of New Mexico and UNM Health Sciences before the New Mexico Legislature, helping shape legislative strategy, secure funding, and advance priorities ranging from higher education and healthcare to workforce development and capital investment. His background also includes service as a congressional field representative and experience as a business owner, giving him a practical understanding of government from the perspective of public institutions, elected officials, and private-sector clients. Today, Matt helps organizations navigate the New Mexico Legislature, state agencies, and local government through straightforward advice, strong relationships, and a clear understanding of how decisions get made.
